2018 Winter Workshop & Student Leadership Summit
GATOR ITE, the University of Florida ITE Student Chapter, is excited to host the first annual ITE Student Leadership Summit in ITE District 10. Partnering with ITE District 10, Gator ITE will host the 2018 Florida Section ITE Winter Workshop on Friday, February 9th, 2018 on the UF campus in the J. Wayne Reitz Union.
The Friday Winter Workshop theme is Workforce and Mobility in the Connected World. Come and hear the latest information on what is going on in the realm of connected vehicles and mobility. Take a ride in a Tesla Model X. Learn about "cloud-based" CV deployment. Hear about the real-world transportation technology testbed (I-STREET) in Gainesville.
The Student Leadership Summit will then commence the evening of February 9 and will continue with training sessions, leadership workshops, and networking opportunities through the weekend. For more information about the Student Leadership Summit, visit the website of GATOR ITE by clicking here.
The target audience for this event includes traffic engineers and transportation planners from the public and private sectors alike, especially those looking to hire talented graduates into their organizations. The Professional development hours (PDH) earned by attending these two events can be used to fulfill continuing education requirements for renewal of the PE license and AICP certification.
GATOR ITE is also soliciting sponsors to help put on this exciting event. Please click the buttons below for more information about sponsorship and to register.
